Why we built it

Most discount calculators force you through a fixed form — original price here, discount there, one specific question answered. Real shopping doesn't work that way. Sometimes you know the original price and the discount. Sometimes you only know the sale price and what you saved. Sometimes two coupons stack, or tax is added at checkout, or the price tag is in a currency with different decimal rules.

So we built a calculator that starts from whichever two values you happen to know and solves the rest instantly. Percent off, fixed amounts, stackable double discounts, tax — included or added — and 15 currencies with correct formatting, all in one place, with no calculate button to press.

What we believe

• Free forever. No paywalls, no premium tier, no "enter your email for 3 free calculations."
• Private by design. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type ever leaves your device, and there are no ads and no trackers.
• Honest math. Stackable discounts compound correctly, tax modes reflect how prices actually work in your region, and rounding matches real-world pricing.

Shoppers checking a sale tag before checkout. Students learning percentage math. Small-business owners planning markdowns or pricing a clearance. Anyone who has ever stood in a store doing mental arithmetic and wishing it would just compute itself.

How it works

The calculator is a static page with no backend. The math — including the "find any two of four values" solver — runs entirely in your browser's JavaScript. You can even share a calculation as a link that reproduces the exact numbers and settings.
