Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026. Your privacy is the whole point of this tool — here is exactly what we do and, more importantly, what we do not do.
In short
Discount Calculator does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no newsletters, no analytics trackers and no advertising. Every calculation runs in your own browser, and nothing you type into the calculator ever leaves your device.
Information we do not collect
- No personal data. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other identifier.
- No calculations. The prices, discounts, currencies and results you enter are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted or stored on our servers.
- No cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or third-party analytics of any kind.
Local storage
The only thing stored on your device is your theme preference (light or dark mode), saved in your browser's local storage so the site looks the same the next time you visit. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings — doing so only resets the theme to your system default.
Data we technically receive
Like every website, our host receives standard technical data when you load a page — your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. This is limited to what is necessary to serve the site and keep it secure. We do not use this data for profiling or advertising.
Fonts
To display the Geist typeface, the page loads font files from Google Fonts. That request is handled by Google under their privacy policy and transmits only your IP address. No font-related data is linked to your browsing on this site.
Children's privacy
The calculator is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected at all, no special permissions are required for any age group.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. The most recent version always applies.
